Ah gifts, an important thing at every celebration. Birthdays, graduations, housewarmings… and weddings.
On this page, we’ve listed our wishes regarding gifts to congratulate us on this milestone in our relationship.
Yes, beer caps!
As you might know, we love to visit local breweries and taste all kinds of beers from the area when we travel. Which is why we’d like to ask you to bring a or some beer bottle cap(s) from a local beer where you live or are from to our wedding celebration. Or maybe a cap from your all-time favourite beer, if you’re a beer-lover like us.
What will we do with them?
Well, you’ll just have to wait and see…
Honestly, we’d just really like you to be there.
Other than the bottle caps (which we would really love), we have no expectations or wishes around gifts, especially as we do understand everyone is traveling and booking a stay to be with us.
Just be there, enjoy what we’ve planned. That’s the best gift you can give us.
In the Netherlands, we call it ‘giving a little envelope’. Which really means a small financial contribution, sometimes presented in a semi-creative way.
We’ve planned a big party, great food and are staying for a holiday, so if you’d like to give us something, this might be a nice idea so we have more to put towards our first house.
If you’d really like to give a gift, just make it something personal. We already have things we need, but it’s always nice to receive personal gifts on a special occasion.
In this case, please do keep in mind that we are traveling abroad by car too. On the RSVP page, we have added our current address of the house we recently bought together.
